1. Shut Down and unplug appliances - doesn't cost a thing, but could save you lots of money in the long run. Remember our post about energy vampires? Stop them in their tracks with this simple tip. 

2. Fill your bottle with filtered tap water - bottled water is a big no-no if you're trying to green your life. Use a tap filter instead and put the water in a reusable bottle. And if you MUST use bottled water, try a brand like Primo who makes their bottles out of plants.

3. Wash your clothes in cold water - By using cold instead of hot water, you'll same energy and money! And you won't even notice the difference in how clean your cloths get.
